My dentist skipped wax rim step and bite registration step and when I questioned midline and extreme over bite she just told me to stick my bottom jaw out and lied saying midline way to the right because my face crocked and I need surgery if I want top denture that fits. I went to affordable denture paid 1400 for another top denture they did bite registration got midline right no over bite so proves first dr lied. But affordable dentures did not do anything for vertical measurements I can’t shut my mouth had to cut the gums down myself yet still can’t shut my mouth if I force a smile all you see is plastic gum the teeth too low. He was rotten rude told me not to argue. Got first dentures in ma second in Virginia. Now I have over 2000 in dentures I can’t wear and no one to turn to for help! By the time I get useable dentures I will have to buy so many pairs I could have just go implants! When I try to advocate for myself I’m told to stop arguing. I feel like nobody understands. I’m 52 and cry all the time cuz I look like a freak. How do I find someone who actually has abilities to do dentures and not talk a big game and then flip into assholes the second I hand them money I saved a whole year for? Why am I running around and getting dentures I can’t shut my mouth with by diff drs for different reasons? Why can’t someone just make me a usable denture? I’m not even asking to eat I’m just asking to look normal. Seems the drs in north east just wanna take impressions and slam plastic horse shoes in your mouth hit you on the back of the head and throw you on the curb and say “ stop arguing, I don’t care you can’t open and close your mouth! How dare you you mean nothing you have teeth , you supposed to suffer some more” but only after they take all your money then say you signed the paper like we yelled at you to do- NO REFUND!

When I was an RDA, I loved making temp crowns. Why did my dentist make horrendous blobs on my teeth? I can’t floss. They’re too high, so I can’t bite right and one of them fell off in two days. This makes me so sad. I wish I could work for him and help his patients. I paid with all the money left in our bank account. I am in so much pain right now because the temp crown fell off and now my tooth is exposed.

what brand hand file do you use doc

I would advise minimizing the watch winding a .06, very easy to separate. more of a tap tap only.

Hey doc, great work. When removing excess tissue I get worried about removing from the buccal getting rid of that KG. Would you now a days consider splitting the difference a little more and removing from the palatal a bit too? Great work!

Ash, I usually get down into mb2 but oftenly can't get into the last 2 - 3mm.. Usually it feels like some sort of a ledge.. It happens so many times.. Is there something special about last millimeters of mb2 that I don't know?!

had this done today on my number 2. 6:52 i think this was maybe one of the reasons why my dentist was scratching against my bone. felt that shit DEEP lol i'm sore asf right now on ibuprofen and amoxicillin eating some porridge. hopefully by the end of the week I'm a lot better and by the end of the month i recover without any other side effect ramming my shit

99% of the time when there’s an old restoration unless it’s truly perfect I remove all of it. If I’m taking responsibility for the tooth now, I make sure the whole restoration is done by me. That way, I’m sure, and not relying on someone else (i.e. whether the previous dentist did complete caries removal, proper preparation, bonding, etc).

I have a modification of these, they're made in Germany where they also have scissors integrated into them! It makes suturing easier, no switching to scissors required. It's called "Hold'n'Cut" by PD Dr. Weng!

BC sealer needs moisture to set. My theory is that when the BC sealer was extruded it set and formed a plug at the orifice which caused the bleeding to stop. Sometimes I use a little viscostat at the tip of a paper point at working length to stop my bleeding canals due to overextension of files

I also have a problem with a wisdom molar. I tried to extract it, but because it was too painful, even under anesthesia I did not stay. One part (the cavity) broke, but the other half remained, and the cavity continues to evolve. Now I have to take care and keep the oral cavity very clean and I want to ask you if in this situation this problem molar can be devitalized so it can be extracted.
